Kalen Ballage at risk of not making the Dolphins final roster?

With the off-season additions of RBs Jordan Howard and Matt Breida, Dolphins RB Kalen Ballage is at risk of not making the team’s final 53-man roster come September. (Armando Salguero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

A 2018 fourth-round draft choice out of Arizona State, Ballage had multiple opportunities last season to seize the starting running back job after Kenyan Drake was traded to the Cardinals. Ballage showcased his skill set in 2018, averaging 5.3 yards per carry on 36 carries, but last season, even when he had the chance to take over as the starter, he averaged a miserable 1.8 yards per carry on 74 attempts. He totaled just 135 yards and three TDs in 12 games. With the signing of Jordan Howard, the acquisition Matt Breida via trade, and the optimism surrounding Patrick Laird and Myles Gaskin, Ballage seems to be on the outside looking in.
