According to a source, the Dallas Cowboys could have some interest in Browns TE David Njoku, who just recently requested to be traded. (Cleveland.com)
Fantasy Impact:
This would be an interesting landing spot for Njoku, but one that might make sense. Blake Jarwin is set to take over the starting tight end role in Dallas vacated by Jason Witten, who is now in Las Vegas. If the former 2017 first-round pick were to end up with the Cowboys, Jarwin’s fantasy value would certainly take a hit. Jarwin is a lot of people’s favorite tight end sleeper this season with a bunch of vacated targets in Dallas, but those expectations would have to be tempered with the addition of Njoku. There are surely other NFL teams that could use a guy like Njoku at just 23 years old to upgrade at the tight end position, but Dallas is the first one we’re hearing be mentioned by sources.
