J.K. Dobbins looking at a ‘significant’ role his rookie season

Could be more coach-speak, but it’s becoming highly likely Dobbins will carve out a nice role on offense his rookie season. He’s been impressing the coaching staff each and every day during camp and Harbaugh had great things to say about Dobbins’ confidence and coachability in particular. Harbaugh did say that Mark Ingram II is still the starter on Day 1, but it sounds like it could be more of a split as we move along during the regular season. If you’re looking for a mid-round RB who has the chance to pop this season, look no further than Dobbins.
