Allen Robinson II and Bears resume contract discussions

After speculation that Allen Robinson II was asking for a trade due to his lack of extension, Ian Rapoport is reporting that the two parties have resumed negotiations. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Robinson removed everything related to the Bears from his social media accounts and then rumors that he demanded a trade began to swirl. He and his agent were quick to squash the rumors but it is clear that the star wide receiver wants to get paid. As of now, his status for Sunday doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy but the situation should be watched closely.
