Packers running back Aaron Jones is officially active for the team’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football. Jones has missed the last two games with a calf injury. (Adam Caplan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Despite missing the last two games and a short turnaround for a Thursday night game, we learned earlier this week that Jones was expected to play. However, reports have indicated that the Packers intend to be careful with Jones and could limit his role. With fellow running backs Jamaal Williams and A.J. Dillon both on the COVID-19 list, Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams could see extensive work on Thursday.
