Saquon Barkley, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear in September against the Bears, told the Associated Press that he is "doing really well in rehab" and is "very excited" to get back to the game. (Associated Press)

Fantasy Impact:

Fantasy football's consensus second overall pick in 2020 only had 25 touches this season before tearing his ACL, which ended his season and required surgery to repair. Because his injury happened early in the season, he's expected to be ready by Week 1 of the 2021 season and his remarks about doing well in rehab lead to believe that will be the case. Although Barkley struggled with just 1.8 yards per carry this season, the Giants got their run game going as the season progressed and Barkley is set to take the lead again next year. Injury concerns have already started to push Barkley down draft boards. Currently sitting as the RB6 in our Expert Consensus Rankings, Barkley can absolutely outperform his ADP if he stays healthy next season.
