Tampa Bay D/ST forces two interceptions in Super Bowl LV win vs. Chiefs

by Matthew MacKay | Buccaneers Correspondent | Mon, Feb 8th 12:18am EST

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers D/ST forced two interceptions in Sunday's 31-9 Super Bowl LV win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact:

Devin White and Antoine Winfield Jr. both intercepted Patrick Mahomes to help the Buccaneers' defense shut down the Chiefs offense in a one-sided 31-9 blowout victory on Sunday. The defensive line of Tampa Bay was elite and exposed the back-up tackles starting for the Chiefs all night long, forcing three sacks, a fumble and two interceptions. Mahomes continuously scrambled inside and outside of the pocket without any time to set his feet while favorite targets Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce were swarmed in double and triple coverage. The Buccaneers D/ST is a top-five option in 2021 redraft leagues and should be targeted in rounds nine thru twelve for a good return on investment.
