Matthew Stafford will not play in any preseason games

Sean McVay went on the Doug Gottlieb Show where he said, “There is zero chance you will ever see Matthew Stafford will ever take a snap, in the preseason, as long as I’m the coach.” (Sean McVay on Fox Sports Radio)
Fantasy Impact:
Stafford injured his thumb in his first full padded practice with his new team, when he hit his surgically repaired right thumb on a helmet during a throw. Luckily he avoid anything serious. The 33-year old gunslinger is entering his 13th season in the NFL, but first with his new team. The thoughts of what his numbers could look like in McVay’s pass heavy offense have raised his ADP to QB12. With an upgraded offensive line and wide receiving corps the sky is truly the limit for the former 5,000 yard passer. He’s a great value in the mid to late rounds of single quarterback fantasy drafts.
