Alexander Mattison fills in for Dalvin Cook; posts 28 yards and a score

Alexander Mattison rushed seven times for 21 yards and a touchdown in Minnesota's loss to San Francisco. He additionally caught 2-of-3 targets for seven yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Midway through the third quarter, Mattison vultured a six-yard touchdown immediately after Dalvin Cook caught a 24-yard pass. But it was later in the quarter where Cook lost a fumble and was subsequently carted off the field with a shoulder injury. It had the looks of a serious injury, as Cook was in tears. Mattison is a clear RB1 for fantasy purposes whenever he receives the starting nod, and it's possible that he finishes the year as the lead tailback depending on how Cook's MRI goes. The Vikings will battle the struggling Lions for Week 13.
