The Panthers fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady on Sunday afternoon. Over the final five games of the season, senior offensive assistant Jeff Nixon will run the offense with help from the rest of the coaching staff. (Carolina Panthers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It’s an interesting development out of Charlotte. Although Carolina has certainly struggled this season, much of the blame can be placed on never-ending quarterback turmoil plus nagging injuries to Christian McCaffrey. Brady was seen as a prime head coaching candidate last winter and into this season. There will be no shortage of interest in Brady for many major vacancies throughout the NFL this offseason.
