It appears that QB Matt Ryan believes that the Atlanta Flacons employ the firepower to put up points in 2016. When asked if the Falcons can average 30 points per game in the upcoming season, Ryan replied, "absolutely," via ESPN. "There's no question. I feel like we have a really good receiving corps. We've got great running backs. We've got a really good offensive line; tight ends across the board. Of course, we can." He later added, "If you have the mindset that you can't, you have no chance. And I believe we've got the guys to do it. We've got the system to do it. Absolutely I think we can do it." (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Matt Ryan is entering his eighth season in the NFL and coming off of is the worst year for touchdown production since his rookie campaign in 2008. Ryan finished 2015 with 4,591 yards, 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions including five 300-yard passing games while appearing in all 16 contests. In the upcoming fantasy football campaign, Ryan should be considered a high-end QB2 with the upside to be able to finish in the top 10 in points at the quarterback position. The Falcons parted ways with an aging Roddy White and replaced him with Mohamed Sanu, who is entering the prime of his career. Th also selected pass-catching tight end Austin Hooper in the NFL Draft to eventually overtake Jacob Tamme's starting spot. Perhaps the biggest acquisition comes in the form of Pro Bowl center, Alex Mack who can take command of Atlanta's offensive line and keep Ryan upright. The Falcons have the pieces in place to become an explosive offensive unit in 2016.
