Matt Gono

2024 Outlook
According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, New York Giants OL Matt Gono "likely has career-ending neck injury."
Fantasy Impact
The Giants signed Matt Gono in March with the hope that he could become the team's swing-tackle, but those plans seem like they will not come to fruition. Gono had neck surgery last season, and with the increased contact he faced in the early stages of training camp, he began to feel symptoms of a neck issue. The Giants placed the fourth-year pro on the exempt/left squad list on Wednesday as Gono went to see the doctor that performed his surgery.
Tackle Matt Gono agreed to sign with the New York Giants on a one-year deal.
Fantasy Impact
The Giants have been looking to improve their line over the past few seasons, as it has been a bottom finisher almost every season in recent memory. Gono will be a solid addition for the team, offering depth and youth to a dismal unit. Look for him to possibly compete for a starting spot on the line.
