2026 Half PPR Draft Rankings

Brock Bowers Note
Brock Bowers photo 1. Brock Bowers LV (at KC)
Toss Brock Bowers' 2025 season in the trash. All of it. In the trash. He sustained a PCL injury in Week 1 that he attempted to play through all year. He eventually landed on season-ending IR before Week 17 after gutting through 12 games last season. Despite playing on one leg for the entire season, Bowers still ranked 13th in yards per route run and first downs per route run last season (per Fantasy Points Data). To understand Bowers' 2026 upside and talent, we need to rewind to 2024 when he was the TE3 in fantasy points per game. During that season, he was seventh in target per route run rate, sixth in yards per route run, third in receiving yards per game, second in first read share, and seventh in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). 2026 Brock Bowers could be 2025 Trey McBride and be the runaway TE1 for fantasy, with little target competition existing on the Raiders' depth chart to challenge him.

Trey McBride Note
Trey McBride photo 2. Trey McBride ARI (vs . SF)
Trey McBride was a league-winning pick last year as the TE1 in fantasy points per game (the closest tight end was 3.9 fantasy points per game behind McBride). He was a volume monster in what was a pass-happy Arizona offense. With Jacoby Brissett under center (Weeks 6-18) last year, Arizona was first in neutral passing rate and second in snaps while trailing by seven or more points (per Fantasy Points Data). The Cardinals were throwing a ton while playing catch-up weekly. McBride ran 156 more routes last year than any other tight end. This fact and McBride's talent fueled plenty of fantasy teams to championships last season. Among 59 qualifying tight ends, McBride was first in target share (25.4%), receiving yards per game (72.9), red zone targets (32), and first-read share (33.8%). Among the same sample size of tight ends, McBride was also tenth in yards per route run and 15th in first downs per route run. Arizona will likely be trailing in many games this season again, so we should expect Arizona to be chucking the ball again. In Mike LaFleur's two seasons with the Jets as offensive coordinator, he ranked ninth and fourth in negative script passing rate. McBride could repeat this season as the TE1 overall.

Colston Loveland Note
Colston Loveland photo 3. Colston Loveland CHI (at MIN)
Sure, Colston Loveland disappointed last season if you only look at his overall stats as the TE15 in fantasy points per game, but that was because he was languishing in a part-time role for most of the season. It wasn't until after Week 15 that Loveland was consistently featured as a full-time member of the offense. In Weeks 16-20, he exploded as the Bears' WR1 with a 25.6% target share, 81.6 receiving yards per game, 2.49 yards per route run, a 34% first-read share, 0.116 first downs per route run, and 17.2 PPR points per game (per Fantasy Points Data). If Loveland had produced like that over the course of the entire season, he would have given Trey McBride a run for his money as the TE1 in fantasy. Last year, those numbers, among all tight ends with at least 20 targets, would have ranked first, first, fourth, first, fourth, and second. If you compare those numbers against Trey McBride's 2025 season and Brock Bowers' 2024 campaign, Loveland would have beaten both players in every single category except for fantasy points per game with McBride's 2025 season. Loveland could easily pick up right where he left off this season and compete with Brock Bowers and Trey McBride for the TE1 crown. With D.J. Moore gone, Loveland has only Rome Odunze and Luther Burden to compete with for the top spot in the target pecking order in Chicago.

Tyler Warren Note
Tyler Warren photo 4. Tyler Warren IND (vs . JAC)
Tyler Warren had a fantastic rookie season as the TE10 in fantasy points per game, but there was plenty of meat left on the bone that should have fantasy gamers excited going into 2026. Warren was the TE4 in expected fantasy points per game last year. Let's begin the convo there. He should naturally see some regression this season. Warren also ranked fifth in red zone targets and eighth in end zone targets last year among tight ends, and he only had four receiving touchdowns to show for it. Warren was excellent last year on a per-route basis. Among 59 qualifying tight ends, he was sixth in target share, ninth in receiving yards per game, 18th in yards per route run and first downs per route run, and sixth in first-read-read share (per Fantasy Points Data). The addition of Keenan Allen to this Colts' depth chart does lower the absolute ceiling for Tyler Warren somewhat, as Allen isn't dust and he could play the Michael Pittman Jr. role for the Colts in 2026. Warren is a top-five tight end this season, but his week-to-week volatility increased somewhat with the addition of Keenan Allen.

Tucker Kraft Note
Tucker Kraft photo 5. Tucker Kraft GB (vs . DET)
Last year, before losing the rest of his season to a torn ACL (Week 9), Tucker Kraft was the TE1 in fantasy points per game. In Weeks 1-8, among 33 qualifying tight ends, Kraft ranked seventh in target share (18.3%), first in receiving yards per game (67), second in yards per route run (2.71), seventh in first-read share (21.6%), and second in first downs per route run (0.121, per Fantasy Points Data). Kraft was also a YAC gawd, leading all tight ends in yards after the catch per reception and missed tackles forced per reception. The news out of Packers' camp is that he'll have his snaps monitored for half the season before cutting him loose with a full workload down the back half of the season. I'm not that concerned about it crushing his fantasy value in the early going. In Weeks 1-8, among 45 qualifying tight ends, he was 11th in route share (73.3%), which will obviously see a downtick this season out of the gate, but now we can discuss the reassuring factors of his usage from last season. Among the same sample of tight ends in that stretch, he was also ninth-best in target per route run rate (23%) and third-best in designed target rate (17.9%). I won't be shocked if Green Bay bumps both of those numbers up in the first half of the season, and to be honest, I expect them to. Kraft can maintain TE1 production in the early weeks of the season with top 3-5 upside in the back half of 2026.

Sam LaPorta Note
Sam LaPorta photo 6. Sam LaPorta DET (at GB)
Before his 2025 season was lost to a back injury, Sam LaPorta was the TE7 in fantasy points per game. Despite the injury-shortened season, LaPorta was still one of the most explosive tight ends in the NFL on a per-route basis. Among 59 qualifying tight ends, he ranked tenth in target share (17.8%), sixth in receiving yards per game (54.3), fifth in yards per route run (2.14), and eighth in first downs per route run (0.100, per Fantasy Points Data). The concerning thing for LaPorta during those nine games was his six red zone targets and only one end zone target. Considering that light usage near paydirt, it's not shocking that he had only three touchdowns. That is worrisome, but touchdowns can be a fickle game to project year-to-year. Painting a positive light on that usage is the fact that despite those numbers, LaPorta was still second on the team in not only target share but red zone targets during that stretch. The arrival of Drew Petzing as the offensive coordinator should be viewed as a plus for LaPorta if we are to extract anything from his time in Arizona and his usage of Trey McBride. LaPorta should turn in a strong 2026 season as a top-eight fantasy tight end with top-five upside.

Harold Fannin Jr. Note
Harold Fannin Jr. photo 7. Harold Fannin Jr. CLE (at CIN)
Harold Fannin Jr. had a banner rookie season as the TE8 in fantasy points per game. Let's see if he can follow it up in year two with Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion competing with him for targets. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, Fannin was fifth in target share (19.4%), 12th in receiving yards per game (45.7), 12th in yards per route run (1.81), fourth in first-read share (22.3%), and 25th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). I expect his first-read share to dip some, but he could retain similar per-route metrics outside of that in 2026 if he can hold off Boston and Concepcion while overcoming quarterback concerns in Cleveland. When it's all said and done, Fannin is likely a low-end TE1 in 2026.

Kyle Pitts Sr. Note
Kyle Pitts Sr. photo 8. Kyle Pitts Sr. ATL (at CAR)
Last year, Kyle Pitts had a tale of two seasons. Yes, overall it was a wonderful year as the TE5 in fantasy points per game and easily his best statistical season since his rookie year, but it was wildly different with Drake London in and out of the lineup. Without London, Pitts had a 26.7% target share with 84.4 receiving yards per game, 2.81 yards per route run, a 27.8% first-read share, 0.120 first downs per route run, and 19 fantasy points per game (per Fantasy Points Data). Those are all elite numbers, and if Pitts had put up those stats all year, especially the fantasy points per game, he would have been the TE1 for fantasy. The problem is that with Drake London active, Pitts had a 19% target share, 42.2 receiving yards per game, 1.43 yards per route run, a 20.2% first-read share, 0.093 first downs per route run, and 9.6 fantasy points per game. All of those per route metrics were still quite strong, but the fantasy points per game mark would have made Pitts the TE20 last year. With Kevin Stefanski in town and a passing attack that boils down to London and Pitts at the top alongside Bijan Robinson, the reality of Pitts' 2026 projection falls somewhere in the middle of all of this. He's a strong TE1 that still has top-five upside if Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. can give Atlanta at least league-average quarterback play all season.

George Kittle Note
George Kittle photo 9. George Kittle SF (at ARI)
George Kittle had a battered and bruised 2025 season with a hamstring injury that cost him seven games, then an ankle injury, and finally an Achilles tear in the postseason. We'll have to see when Kittle is back on the field for the 49ers in 2026 and looking like his usual tackle-breaking self. I'm hopeful that Kittle makes a wonderful recovery and beats the timelines, but I also won't be shocked if San Francisco holds him back by starting him out on the PUP to begin the season and eases him in after that. When Kittle was on the field last year, he didn't show any signs of slowing down. Among 54 qualifying tight ends, he ranked fourth in target share (20%) and yards per route run (2.30), third in receiving yards per game (57.1) and first-read share (24.3%), and second in first downs per route run (0.139, per Fantasy Points Data). Kittle is a nice upside swing at tight end this year. He could be a player that puts fantasy teams over the top down the stretch if he can regain his usual form. If you're drafting Kittle, I'd pair him with another late tight end like Dallas Goedert or Isaiah Likely that could return strong TE1 production at least to open the 2026 season until Kittle is ready to rock.

Travis Kelce Note
Travis Kelce photo 10. Travis Kelce KC (vs . LV)
At this point in his career, we know what to expect out of Travis Kelce. He's a low-end TE1, and that's fine, but I don't see a path for him returning to top 3-5 status for 2026. Over the last two years, he has been the TE9 and TE7 in fantasy points per game. Yes, the Chiefs will remain a pass-first offense, but it's fair to question when we'll see Patrick Mahomes play in 2026 and what version of him will be under center. Mahomes is coming off a torn ACL, and that cast of pass-catching characters at his disposal didn't change a ton this offseason, which isn't great. Travis Kelce's per-route efficiency screams that he's on the back nine of his career. Last year, among 59 qualifying tight ends, Kelce was 19th in yards per route run, 18th in yards after the catch per reception, and 16th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Those aren't damning numbers, but they aren't anything more than solid and just illuminate the point again that Kelce doesn't have the juice to put up elite per-route metrics anymore to vault him back into the top 3-5 conversation. Kelce will likely post another solid season as a low-end TE1 in 2026.

Dalton Kincaid Note
Dalton Kincaid photo 11. Dalton Kincaid BUF (vs . NYJ)
If Dalton Kincaid could get a near full-time route share, he would be a league winner and season-defining player at the tight end position, with consideration to where he's being drafted. Last year, Kincaid was a monster on a per-route basis, leading to a TE13 finish in fantasy points per game. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, Kincaid ranked FIRST in target per route run rate, yards per route run, separation score, route win rate, first downs per route run, and fantasy points per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). The problem is that, among the same sample of 54 tight ends, he was 39th in route share (44.2%) behind Michael Mayer. If Kincaid could see his route share climb near 70% (or above), he could be the TE1 overall in 2026, but the problem is that it is a BIG if. The good thing is that risk is priced into his ADP, but his soul-crushing upside isn't. Kincaid is a perfect tight end to pair with Dallas Goedert, Travis Kelce, or Jake Ferguson. It's a perfect two-tight-end build with floor and potential ceiling.

Isaiah Likely Note
Isaiah Likely photo 12. Isaiah Likely NYG (vs . PHI)
Isaiah Likely's 2025 season was crushed by a foot injury that he sustained in the preseason. I can't honestly tell you that he was fully healthy last season, or when that occurred, if so. I'm tossing his 2025 campaign in the trash. So, let's be kind and rewind to 2024. During that season, among 57 qualifying tight ends, Likely ranked 17th in target per route run rate, tenth in yards per route run, and eighth in first downs per route run and fantasy points per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). After signing a lucrative deal with the Giants this offseason, Likely should be their clear starting tight end and a strong part of their passing game, with only Darnell Mooney, Darius Slayton, Calvin Austin, and Malachi Fields to contend with for targets behind Malik Nabers. Likely could easily be a solid TE1 this season and is worth a late-round dart in a ton of drafts in 2026.
Dallas Goedert Note
Dallas Goedert photo 13. Dallas Goedert PHI (at NYG)
Last year was the second time in Dallas Goedert's career that he's finished as a top-six fantasy tight end (TE6 in fantasy points per game). Goedert accomplished this by spiking a career-high a career high 11 receiving touchdowns. Last year, among 59 qualifying tight ends, Goedert ranked eighth in target share (18.4%), 33rd in yards per route run (1.43), 17th in receiving yards per game (39.4), eighth in first-read share (21%), seventh in red zone targets (15), and 21st in first downs per route run (0.083, per Fantasy Points Data). With A.J. Brown out of town, Goedert could easily be the clear second option in the Eagles' passing attack this season. I wouldn't rule out Goedert finishing as a top six fantasy tight end again in 2026. At his floor, he's a strong TE1 even with the additions of Hollywood Brown, Dontayvion Wicks, Makai Lemon, and Eli Stowers this offseason.
Jake Ferguson Note
Jake Ferguson photo 14. Jake Ferguson DAL (at WAS)
Last year, Jake Ferguson managed his second TE10 finish in fantasy points per game among tight ends in the last three years. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, Ferguson was 16th in target share (16%), 20th in receiving yards per game (35.3), 43rd in yards per route run (1.26), 18th in first-read share (17.6%), and 38th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). What fueled his season was red zone targets (second among tight ends behind only Trey McBride) and touchdowns (tied for third-best). Ferguson isn't likely to continue with that high-end touchdown production. If that slips, he's a mid-range TE2. I'm avoiding him in most drafts.
Mark Andrews Note
Mark Andrews photo 15. Mark Andrews BAL (vs . PIT)
Mark Andrews is coming off easily his worst season in the NFL as the TE23 in fantasy points per game. Last year, Baltimore limited his playing time, as he was 22nd in route share (62.9%, per Fantasy Points Data). I'm expecting that to rebound in 2026 with Isaiah Likely gone, but we still have to see it materialize. Last year, among 59 qualifying tight ends, Andrews was ninth in first read share, but his yards per route run (41st) and first downs per route run (27th) were nothing to write home about. He's worth taking a flier on late in drafts as your tight end two with the hopes that he can rebound with more playing time in a new offensive system and give us a throwback season in 2026.
Juwan Johnson Note
Juwan Johnson photo 16. Juwan Johnson NO (vs . TB)
Last year, Juwan Johnson finished with a career high in targets, receptions, and receiving yards as the TE11 in fantasy points per game. The Saints' offense caught fire in the back half of last season, and with the trade of Rashid Shaheed and no other complementary option stepping up alongside Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson saw his role grow. With the arrival of Jordyn Tyson, Bryce Lance, and Oscar Delp this offseason, Johnson could see his role diminish somewhat unless Tyler Shough takes a big step forward and he's able to support at least three receiving options weekly in the offense. Tyson's latest hamstring injury does create a lane for Johnson to reprise his late-season usage of 2025. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, Johnson was 13th in target share, seventh in receiving yards per game, 15th in yards per route run, 11th in first-read share, and 23rd in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Johnson could be a TE1 again this season, but he's best viewed as a TE2 with upside. With Tyson slated to miss the first few weeks of the NFL season, Johnson is also a nice candidate to pair with someone like George Kittle if you're waiting on tight ends in drafts.

Brenton Strange Note
Brenton Strange photo 17. Brenton Strange JAC (at IND)
Last year, Brenton Strange had a breakout season as the TE17 in fantasy points per game setting career highs in targets (only in 12 games), receiving yards, yards per reception, and fantasy points per game. Among 54 qualifying tight ends, he was 21st in target share, 14th in receiving yards per game, ninth in yards per route run, 23rd in first-read share, and 11th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Strange's per-route metrics display the talent that he has to surpass last year's numbers if he ever got a featured role in the Jags' passing attack, but as the depth chart currently stands, he's likely the fourth or fifth option in the target hierarchy. Strange is a nice stash or pickup in season if injuries strike the depth chart because he could see his numbers boom, but as it currently sits, he's an intriguing TE2 with upside.

Chig Okonkwo Note
Chig Okonkwo photo 18. Chig Okonkwo WAS (vs . DAL)
Chig Okonkwo is back on the intriguing late-round tight end radar again for 2026. The signing of Stefon Diggs definitely puts a damper on his upside, but Okonkwo is still an interesting dice roll. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, he was 24th in target share, 23rd in receiving yards per game, 28th in yards per route run, and 37th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Okonkwo has been a per-route metric darling in previous seasons, so with better quarterback play in 2026 tied to Jayden Daniels, I wouldn't be surprised if he recaptures some of that magic. I still don't know if he'll have enough volume this season to be anything more than a streaming option when the matchup is right.

Hunter Henry Note
Hunter Henry photo 19. Hunter Henry NE (vs . MIA)
Last year, Hunter Henry was the TE12 in fantasy points per game while setting a new career high in receiving yards (768) and finishing with the second-most receiving touchdowns in a season in his career (seven). Among 54 qualifying tight ends, he was 15th in target share, 13th in receiving yards per game, 17th in yards per route run, and 14th in first-read share and first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Henry will take a step back in 2026 after the additions of A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs this offseason, so I wouldn't expect him to be a TE1 again. He's best viewed as a solid TE2.

Oronde Gadsden II Note
Oronde Gadsden II photo 20. Oronde Gadsden II LAC (at DEN)
I'll be avoiding Oronde Gadsden in drafts this season. Yes, in Weeks 6-18 last year, he had his moments with five TE1 finishes in weekly scoring, but he was also only the TE17 in fantasy points per game. During that sample of games, among 50 qualifying tight ends, he was 36th in target per route run rate, 15th in yards per route run, 22nd in first-read share, and 29th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). After Week 15, he failed to surpass a 70% route share in any game. All of these are concerning red flags before we even get to the Bolts' additions of Charlie Kolar and David Njoku this offseason. Gadsden looks like he's locked in a tight end committee for 2026, which is something I don't have any interest in dealing with for fantasy purposes.
Dalton Schultz Note
Dalton Schultz photo 21. Dalton Schultz HOU (vs . TEN)
Last year, Dalton Schultz was the TE14 in fantasy points per game while ranking 13th in deep targets and 15th in red zone targets among tight ends. Among 54 qualifying tight ends, Schultz was 11th in target share and receiving yards per game, 20th in yards per route run, 16th in first-read share, and 20th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Schultz could take a step back in the target pecking order in 2026 with Jayden Higgins emerging, but I think he should still be viewed as a strong TE2 with streaming appeal.

AJ Barner Note
AJ Barner photo 22. AJ Barner SEA (at LAR)
Last year, A.J. Barner was the TE20 in fantasy points per game while finishing as a TE1 in weekly scoring six times. There is some definite streaming upside with Barner again for 2026. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, he was 27th in target share, 25th in receiving yards per game, 26th in yards per route run, 33rd in first-read share, and 26th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). His touchdown equity in the Seattle offense is what gives him the streaming appeal. Last year, he was fifth in total touchdowns among tight ends while also ranking 12th in red zone targets. Barner will be called upon by fantasy managers again in 2026 when the matchup is right or bye weeks hit.

T.J. Hockenson Note
T.J. Hockenson photo 23. T.J. Hockenson MIN (vs . CHI)
T.J. Hockenson isn't on my radar for 2026. Last season, he was the TE25 in fantasy points per game, and I don't foresee a bounce-back season coming for Hockenson with the signing of Jauan Jennings and Kyler Murray playing quarterback. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, Hockenson was 20th in target share, 26th in receiving yards per game, 44th in yards per route run, 27th in first-read share, and 40th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Hockenson is an avoid for me in all formats.

Terrance Ferguson Note
Terrance Ferguson photo 24. Terrance Ferguson LAR (vs . SEA)
Terrance Ferguson is a deep league dart that could pay off in 2026 if he can emerge from the dogpile of tight ends on the Rams' depth chart. In his rookie season, among 54 qualifying tight ends, he was 48th in target-per-route-run rate and 32nd in yards per route run, which isn't impressive, but he played a field-stretching role. Ferguson was first in aDOT with an absurd 18.3 mark, as he was utilized out wide or in the slot on 71.6% of his snaps (per Fantasy Points Data). Betting on a hyper-athletic second-year tight end who is free in drafts and residing in one of the best offenses in the NFL is never a bad bet.

Kenyon Sadiq Note
Kenyon Sadiq photo 25. Kenyon Sadiq NYJ (at BUF)
The 16th overall pick of this year's NFL Draft, Kenyon Sadiq offers an athletic profile that few if any tight ends can match. Sadiq ran a 4.39 at the combine and had a 431/2-inch vertical jump. Sadiq's college production profile at Oregon wasn't quite as dazzling. He topped out at 51 catches, 560 receiving yards and eight touchdowns last year as a junior, averaging an uninspiring 1.62 yards per route run, according to PFF. The Jets aren't expected to have a very good passing attack this year with Geno Smith as the starting quarterback. Sadiq will have to compete for targets with Garrett Wilson, fellow rookie Omar Cooper Jr. and fellow TE Mason Taylor. It's possible Sadiq's athleticism helps him become impactful right away, but more likely he's a play for the future. Profiling as a low-end TE2 or high-end TE3, Sadiq will be undraftable in most redraft leagues.

Gunnar Helm Note
Gunnar Helm photo 26. Gunnar Helm TEN (at HOU)
Second-year man Gunnar Helm sits atop the Titans' depth chart at tight end now that veteran Chig Okonkwo has moved on to Washington via free agency. A fourth-round pick out of the University Of Texas, Helm turned in a solid if unspectacular rookie season, catching 44 passes for 357 yards and two touchdown in an offense that struggled for much of the season. Helm caught 80% of his targets and averaged a respectable 1.45 yards per route run. Titans QB Cam Ward had a rough rookie season overall but played much better late in the season. If Ward can continue to make strides, Helm could become a fantasy-viable TE option in 2026.

Pat Freiermuth Note
Pat Freiermuth photo 27. Pat Freiermuth PIT (at BAL)
Pat Freiermuth was the Steelers' best pass-catching tight end last season, but that didn't mean much, as Freiermuth finished with 41 catches for 486 yards and four touchdowns. He finished TE24 in half-point PPR fantasy scoring. The Steelers' offensive coordinator last season, Arthur Smith, rotated his tight ends, and Freiermuth had a career-low 51% snap share last year. Freiermuth has topped 60 catches in three of his five NFL seasons, and he's squarely in his prime at age 27. If new Steelers head coach Mike McCathy and new offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio make Freiermuth a bigger part of the Pittsburgh offense than he was under Smith last year, the veteran tight end could surprise.

Cade Otton Note
Cade Otton photo 28. Cade Otton TB (at NO)
Cade Otton has had 59 receptions in each of the last two seasons. He finished with 572 receiving yards and one touchdown last year, leading to a TE25 fantasy finish. Otton has had spurts of serious fantasy value in the past, usually when one or more of the Bucs' top pass catchers were hurt. When Buccaneers WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin both went down with significant injuries in Week 7 of 2024, Otton had 30 catches for 293 yards and three touchdowns over a four game stretch. In Otton's other 10 games that season, he had 29 catches for 307 yards and one touchdown. With Evans now in San Francisco, perhaps Otton will play a bigger role in the Tampa Bay offense this year. But Otton profiles as no more than a high-end TE3 and isn't draftable in most fantasy leagues.

Eli Stowers Note
Eli Stowers photo 33. Eli Stowers PHI (at NYG)
The Eagles took Eli Stowers in the second round of this year's NFL Draft, 54th overall. Stowers won the John Mackey Award last year as the best tight end in college football, finishing his senior year at Vanderbilt with 62 catches for 769 yards and four touchdowns. Stowers had a 27% target rate last year and averaged an impressive 2.55 yards per route run. And like fellow rookie TE Kenyon Sadiq, Stowers is an athletic marvel. Stowers ran a 4.51 at the combine, and the former Texas state high school high-jump champion had a vertical jump of 451/2 inches. The 6-4, 239-pound Stowers might not be heavy enough to play as an in-line tight end, which could potentially limit his snaps. It's hard to project big things for Stowers in his rookie year when his usage and role are uncertain, but his athleticism and college production suggest he's capable of big things sooner or later.

Greg Dulcich Note
Greg Dulcich photo 36. Greg Dulcich MIA (at NE)
Greg Dulcich could be THE late-round tight end to draft in 2026. Last year, he was absolutely awesome when on the field. Among 59 qualifying tight ends, he was fifth in target-per-route-run rate (24%), second in yards per route run (2.64) and yards after the catch per reception (7.69), fifth in first downs per route run (0.110), and sixth in fantasy points per route run (0.50, per Fantasy Points Data). Miami is starved for capable pass catchers for Malik Willis, and with only Will Kacmarek, Seydou Traore, and Ben Sims behind him on the tight end depth chart, Dulcich should be the Dolphins' every-down tight end. I won't be surprised if he finishes the season as a TE1.

Darren Waller Note
Darren Waller photo 45. Darren Waller CAR (vs . ATL)
Darren Waller was productive as a part-time player for the Dolphins last year and could be in 2026 for the Carolina Panthers. In his nine games played last season, he scored six touchdowns and had three TE1 finishes in weekly scoring. He had only a 53% route share, which probably drops this season as he'll likely split routes with Tommy Tremble and Ja'Tavion Sanders. Last year, among 54 qualifying tight ends, Waller was tenth in target per route run rate, eighth in yards per route run, and third in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Waller could be a streaming option at various points this season for fantasy, but I wouldn't count on him as anything more than that.

Charlie Kolar photo 52. Charlie Kolar LAC (at DEN)
Charlie Kolar could lead the Bolts in snaps at the tight end position, and I wouldn't be surprised this season. Last year, he had very limited playing time behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, but he made the most of his opportunities when on the field. He is arguably the best run blocker that the Bolts have on the roster at tight end after finishing with a 71.5 run-blocking grade last season (per PFF). Among 81 qualifying tight ends, he only had a 93-route sample (18.5% route share), but he ranked 28th in yards per route run and 14th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Kolar is a decent late flier in tight end premium formats.
