Kenta Maeda allowed five hits on Saturday

Kenta Maeda allowed five hits, one earned run, walked one, and struck out one in 4 1/3 innings Saturday against the Chicago White Sox.

Fantasy Impact:

Maeda is firmly entrenched as the Dodgers' number two starter behind Clayton Kershaw. While he doesn't have explosive velocity, Maeda's control and ability to change speeds allows him to strike out a batter per inning. He's also remarkably consistent, as he doesn't exhibit any huge splits. The underlying question is if the league will adjust to him in his second year.
