Patrick Corbin evens record with quality start versus White Sox
by Brad Richter | Nationals Correspondent | Wed, May 24th 1:30pm EDT
Patrick Corbin evened his record at 4-4 with six solid innings of three-run ball during a 5-4 win over the White Sox on Tuesday. Corbin scattered eight hits while allowing two home runs with five strikeouts and one free pass in 91 pitches.
Fantasy Impact:
Corbin has picked up two wins in his last three starts despite a 5.50 ERA during that stretch. Corbin should continue to pick up some wins thanks to the high-powered Diamondbacks' offense but doesn't offer much else to fantasy owners with a 4.40 ERA and 7.38 K/9 this season. Consider Corbin as a spot starter in standard leagues when he has a favorable matchup.
