Yoan Moncada struggling after Triple-A DL stint

by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | White Sox Correspondent | Fri, Jun 9th 12:17pm EDT

Yoan Moncada was dominating Triple-A to start the year and everyone was wondering when the White Sox would call him up to the big leagues. Moncada's slash line before hurting his thumb on May 15 was .331/.401/.504. Since returning, Moncada is hitting .152 (8-for-52) with eight walks and 22 strikeouts. (Sporting News)

Fantasy Impact:

Moncada is obviously owned in dynasty leagues seeing he is arguably the number one prospect in baseball. With the White Sox struggling, Moncada will not be called up any time soon. The injury and Moncada's struggles at the plate do not help either. Just keep Moncada on the watch list and hope he might see some action towards the end of the season.
