Zack Wheeler annihilated in second straight start

For the second start in a row, Zack Wheeler failed to make it past the second inning. On Monday night, the Dodgers pounded out seven earned runs on eight hits, including three homers, in just two innings of work off Wheeler. The Mets went on to lose 10-6 as Wheeler fell to 3-5 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Wheeler has been nothing short of abysmal in his last two starts. He has given up 15 earned runs in just 3 2/3 IP, and seen his ERA rise from 3.45 to 5.49. It is unclear as to exactly what is wrong with Wheeler (other than the usual case of Mets-itis plaguing this team) but he could be dealing with dead arm. Owners in deeper leagues should sit tight and consider keeping him benched despite the fact that he draws a favorable matchup against the Giants in his next start.
