Bryce Harper strikes out to end NLDS

by Brendan Tuma | Phillies Correspondent | Fri, Oct 13th 11:30am EDT

Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and an RBI as the Nationals lost to the Cubs 9-8 in Game 5 of the NLDS on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Harper also struck out against Wade Davis to end the game. He hit just .211 in the series, but provided an extremely clutch two-run homer to get the Nationals back into the series in Game 2. Overall, Harper bounced back strongly from a disappointing 2016 campaign. In his age 24 season this year he posted a 1.008 OPS to go along with a .319 average and a .413 OBP. Harper will be a first round pick in all fantasy formats next spring.
