Josh Donaldson went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base during the Blue Jays' 3-1 loss to the Oakland A's on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Donaldson is sporting a lackluster .229/.322/.438 batting line with five home runs and 16 RBI through 27 games and his early season struggles have to be frustrating for fantasy owners that invested an early round draft pick on the three time All-Star. Try not overreact to these lowly numbers and keep in mind that Donaldson's 2018 sample size is still very small, considering that he missed nearly a month of time with a shoulder injury. It seems likely that the third baseman will round into form eventually but now could be a good time to throw out some buy-low trade offers to the Donaldson owner in your league.
