Free agent left-handed pitcher Dallas Keuchel is throwing simulated games every five days to stay fresh in anticipation of a new deal, according to his agent Scott Boras. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)

The 31-year-old southpaw is certainly worthy of a stash for those in deeper leagues —particularly managers who skimped on starting pitching on draft day. It's important to remember that even if Keuchel signs an MLB deal overnight, he'll have to throw a few starts in the minor leagues to truly tune-up, pushing his availability out still further. Keuchel is owned in approximately 75% of leagues already, despite being a man without a country at present.
