by Mike Maher | Mets Correspondent | Tue, Apr 23rd 10:29pm EDT

Mets starting pitcher Zack Wheeler struck out 11 batters over seven shutout innings while allowing five hits and no walks in a win over the Phillies on Tuesday. He also went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBIs, and two runs scored at the plate.

Fantasy Impact:

While the batting stats won't help fantasy owners in most formats, Wheeler delivered a dominating performance on the mound. He now has a 4.25 ERA with 33 strikeouts over 29 2/3 innings to start the season, and Tuesday was his third straight quality start after getting knocked around by the Nationals in his second start of the season.
