Jeimer Candelario demoted to Triple-A

Fantasy Impact:
Manager Ron Gardenhire said the demotion is intended to help Candelario clear his head and work on his swing. Candelario hit just .224 last season, but still managed to get 619 plate appearances and hit 19 home runs. Evidently keeping him in the Big Leagues with his current .192 batting average was a bridge too far for Detroit.
