Dakota Hudson slows down the Rangers

by Dan Harris | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, May 19th 1:52pm EDT

Dakota Hudson allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings on Saturday against the Rangers. He struck out five and earned the win, moving to 3-3.

Fantasy Impact:

Hudson hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in a start since April 15th, though his 1.70 WHIP isn't remotely in the ballpark of being usable in fantasy. His improvement is noteworthy, but he won't be relevant in mixed leagues unless he can seriously improve his walk-rate. He will take on the Braves in his next start.
