Pete Alonso hits 34th home run Friday

Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Pirates. The homer was his 34th of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Alonso's overall production has dipped to start the second half of the season, but he is still hitting home runs at an incredible clip. He is batting just .136 in the second half and .190 overall in July, but he does have 11 walks in 13 second-half games after walking just 37 times over his first 89 games.
