Cleveland reliever James Karinchak threw a scoreless eighth inning to pick up a hold in a 5-2 win over the Tigers. He struck out three and walked one in the inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Karinchak struck out the side, flashing his elite strikeout upside. Emmanuel Clase has seen the past two save chances while Karinchak appears to have settled into the setup role. Which that affects his fantasy value in saves-only leagues, Karinchak's strikeout upside makes him worth rostering in most spots.
