Fantasy Impact:
Escobar spent the 2020 season with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. He returns to the Royals, which he played with from 2011-2018 as the team’s primary shortstop. Escobar provides organizational depth after slashing .231/.279/.313 across 531 plate appearances for the Royals in 2018.
