Blake Treinen locks up the save on Tuesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Jun 16th 2:04am EDT

RHP Blake Treinen picked up the save on Tuesday when he pitched a scoreless ninth inning while striking out a batter in the Dodgers' 5-3 win over the Phillies.

Fantasy Impact:

Kenley Jansen was unavailable on Tuesday so Treinen was tasked with protecting a two-run lead for L.A. He retired the first two batters before Jean Segura reached on a fielding error by Albert Pujols. He then struck out J.T. Realmuto to end the contest and earn his third save of the year. The big right-hander now owns a 2.93 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 27 2/3 innings this season.
