Kansas City Royals pitcher Josh Staumont allowed three runs on three hits while striking out one across one inning during Thursday’s 15-1 loss to the Red Sox.

Staumont surrendered a three-run shot to Rafael Devers in the sixth inning during a relief appearance in Thursday’s loss to Boston. He’s served up his third homer of the season and has now walked a batter in four straight appearances. The 27-year-old owns a 3.94 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts across 32 innings in 2021. Staumont only holds fantasy value in leagues which reward solds (saves and holds) and is mainly an option in deep-league formats.
