Pablo Sandoval sits out Tuesday due to illness

Sandoval is not in the lineup Tuesday, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports. Sandoval will sit out for the second straight day as he continues to battle an illness. (Tim Britton on Twitter)

The dissapointing year of Pablo Sandoval continues as he misses another game. Sandoval has been frustrating for the fantasy owners who have held onto him as he seems to miss a few games each week with minor injuries and now this week an illness. On top of that is he is not hitting. Sandoval has a .245 average with just 10 home runs on the season.
