Jay Bruce on the verge of being dealt to the Mets

Buster Olney is reporting that the Mets are on the verge of acquiring Jay Bruce from the Reds. It has also been reported that Brandon Nimmo would be part of any deal that sends Bruce to Flushing, NY. (Buster Olney on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
The Mets were in discussions to acquire Jay Bruce at the deadline last season before they acquired Yoenis Cespdes from the Tigers. Bruce would provide the Mets with a much needed bat in an injury riddled and underperforming lineup. From a fantasy perspective, Bruce's power numbers could take a slight hit moving from Great American Ballpark to CitiField, but CitiField has been more of a hitters park in 2016 with the reconfigured fences. Brandon Nimmo's fantasy value would be enhanced moving to Cincinnati where he would presumably have a starting role in the Reds' lineup. Nimmo would be worth a look in NL-only leagues for the stretch run.
