Adrian Peterson leaves New Orleans without a deal

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting free agent running back Adrian Peterson did not sign a contract with the New Orleans Saints after visiting with the team on Tuesday. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Peterson left New Orleans without a deal on Tuesday night. However, Rapoport is reporting that "the visit went well" and that "the two sides will keep talking" as the offseason continues to progress. The future Hall of Fame rusher may have to wait until after the NFL Draft to find a suitor for the 2017 season, but he could also linger unsigned until training camp. Despite the lack of interest Peterson has garnered thus far, he is fully expected to be on a roster by the time Week 1 rolls around.
