Matt Jones likely on his way out of Washington

Washington Redskins beat writer Mike Jones is reporting unnamed members of the coaching staff informed running back Matt Jones that he is "no longer in the team's plans" moving forward. (The Washington Post)
Fantasy Impact:
Jones, who missed the early portion of voluntary workouts, is not expected to attend any in the wake of learning the team is awaiting to trade or release him at some point this offseason. The 24-year-old running back will likely sit out until the Redskins ultimately part ways with him and should find a new suitor prior to the start of training camp in late July. Washington's backfield will be led by Robert Kelley, Chris Thompson and Samaje Perine to start the 2017 campaign.
