Golden Tate has last second TD taken away by replay

by Brad Richter | Mon, Sep 25th 9:00am EDT

Golden Tate had a solid game on Sunday with seven catches for 58 yards and one touchdown. He had a second touchdown in the closing seconds but it was overturned by the replay official stating that he was down at the one-foot mark resulting in a Lions' 30-26 loss to the Falcons.

Fantasy Impact:

It was a tough call for Tate and the Lions but he still had a solid fantasy day, especially in PPR leagues. Through three weeks, Tate had 27 targets resulting in 21 receptions for 190 yards and one score. He remains a valuable PPR option at WR especially in games where the Lions are playing from behind and are forced to throw. Tate and the Lions will matchup the Vikings in Week 4 for a divisional game in Minnesota. In two games against the Vikings last season, Tate has 16 receptions for 156 and one touchdown.
