New York Giants D/ST has third straight melt down in 4th quarter loss

The New York Giants D/ST accumulated four fantasy points and was left without a sack in a 27-22 loss that saw them collapse in the final stretch. The defense did manage an interception and a safety, the latter of which could be attributed much more to the Charger's mistakes than the Giants' ferocious defense.
Fantasy Impact:
The New York Giants D/ST continues to struggle to both shut down opposing offenses and generate big plays. A defense that regularly shut down potent offense last season has greatly struggled at making even the simple plays. The interception on Phillip Rivers is only the third turnover forced by the defense and the 27 points allowed tied a season high. This is a defense that should be left on waivers.
