Vernon Davis on pace for his worst season since 2008

Vernon Davis is on pace for 34 receptions, 338 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact:
This comes after posting 52 receptions, 850 yards and an eye-popping 13 touchdowns last season. Davis missed two games early in the season with back and ankle problems and hasn't looked the same since. He's short-arming targets and appears to not be over the back injury. He and QB Colin Kaepernick had an extremely productive connection last season, but this year Davis' production is non-existent. Owners in a roster crunch in shallower leagues should consider dropping Davis.
