Chris Conley looks "phenomenal" in OTAs

According to Chiefs.com, wide receiver Chris Conley has looked great in his return from the Achilles injury he suffered early in the 2017 season. Head coach Andy Reid said, "He’s been phenomenal. He’s way ahead of where we expected him." (Chiefs.com)

Fantasy Impact:

His presence didn't stop the Chiefs from signing Sammy Watkins in free agency, though. Conley has been a disappointment to this point in his career, totaling 904 yards over his first three seasons combined, and hasn't scored a touchdown since 2015. You can argue that his skill-set didn't fit that of Alex Smith, but that's not the case with gunslinger Patrick Mahomes, who described Conley as someone he has "an extreme amount of trust in" and that "people forget how physically talented he (Conley) is." He's not likely to make a fantasy impact with Tyreek Hill and Watkins out there running routes, but could be looked at as an intriguing waiver wire add should someone miss time.
