Olivier Vernon plays well in season debut

by Alex Johnson | Fri, Oct 12th 1:01am EDT

Giants outside linebacker Olivier Vernon was the lone bright spot in what was an ugly loss to the Eagles Thursday night. He recorded two tackles (one for loss) with one sack and two QB hits.

Fantasy Impact:

He left the game briefly due to cramping but was able to return. It was great to see Vernon look like his old self after missing the first five weeks of the season with a high ankle sprain suffered in preseason. He provided consistent pressure on quarterback Carson Wentz throughout the night. The Giants will head to Atlanta for a Monday night showdown with the Falcons in Week 7.
