Bobby Wagner agrees to three-year contract extension

The Seahawks and linebacker Bobby Wagner have agreed on a three-year, $54 million contract extension. The deal includes $40.2 million in guarantees, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

The 2012 second-rounder is now the highest paid linebacker in the NFL and, at 29-years-old, is one step closer to playing his entire career in Seattle. Wagner has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of the last five seasons and was named first-team All-Pro in four of those. He now has the paycheck to show for it.
