Rams running back Todd Gurley will not be on a pitch count for the team's Week 1 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, according to a report from ESPN's Lindsey Thiry. Gurley did not play at all in the preseason. (Lindsey Thiry on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gurley was a polarizing first-round pick in fantasy drafts this season after he missed time to end last year due to inflammation and soreness in his left knee that some critics believe is not going away. At least for Week 1, head coach Sean McVay is saying that he will have no restrictions.
