Josh Jacobs a true game-time call for Week 14

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) is a true game-time decision for Week 14. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

While Jacobs has been a trooper this season -- he's played through his broken shoulder since initially injuring it in Week 7 -- Rapoport is suggesting that there are "no guarantees" that he can actually play through the injury in Sunday's home tilt against the Titans, which is a must-win for all parties involved. If Jacobs is active, he could be a tremendous fantasy risk as he is one hit away from being knocked out of the game. Moreover, he could also be limited or on a pitch count. On the other hand, if Jacobs sits, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will handle the running back duties for the Raiders facing a middle of the pack Titans front seven in defending the run -- the Titans are surrendering the 15th most FPPG (18.6) to RBs. With Trent Brown already ruled out along the Oakland front five, it could be a tough day for anyone running the ball not named Jacobs. From a fantasy football perspective, while Washington isn't a terrible play if Jacobs sits, he will likely need to score to return value while Richard brings the higher floor in PPR as the primary receiver out of the backfield on an Oakland team light on pass-catchers down the stretch.
