Ben Roethlisberger expected to be ready for Week 1

Mike Tomlin told reporters "I have no hesitation" on Ben Roethlisberger being ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Tomlin added, "this guy is the ultimate competitor. He dropped the gauntlet down. He made the statement he's coming back." (Brooke Pryor on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This seems to be the expectation of the Steelers at this point, though a clear timeframe for Roethlisberger's return is not currently available. Given the team's lack of quality QB play behind Roethlisberger in 2019, it will be interesting to see how they address the position in free agency and the NFL Draft. If healthy, Big Ben will likely enter the new season as a fringe QB1. He's currently the QB17 based on our expert consensus rankings.
