Jamal Adams to play 2020 season on existing rookie contract

Per source, newly-acquired S Jamal Adams will play the 2020 season with the Seahawks on his existing rookie contract that will pay him $3.59M. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
He’s then due $9.86M in 2021 which would be the final year of his rookie contract. Adams and Seattle both agreed that this would be the case prior to trading for the All-Pro Safety. As one of the top defensive players in the NFL, it’s not hard to envision the Seahawks eventually signing Adams to a multi-year extension.
