Vernon Davis is taking part in the team’s voluntary offseason workout program that began Tuesday. Davis skipped voluntary workouts in 2014 due to a contract dispute. (NBCbayarea.com)

When asked about Davis, GM Trent Baalke stated “I think he’s looking, as are we, to the future, coming back and having a heck of a year.†No one has ever doubted Davis's talent, but he's been held back by the 49ers ground-based scheme and his own injuries. Currently ranked as FantasyPros consensus TE21, and 159th overall, Davis is an extremely strong bet to be a draft-day value in 2015.
