Elijah Mitchell (knee) expected to miss several weeks

Elijah Mitchell is expected to miss some time with the knee injury that led to him leaving Week 1 early. The San Francisco running back underwent an MRI to determine the severity of the injury on Monday. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Although the MRI will determine exactly how long Mitchell will be out, he is already looking at a multi-week absence. After he left on Sunday, Jeff Wilson and Jordan Mason split carries out of the backfield, so they are both worth a waiver pickup. However, expect Deebo Samuel to eat into their workload out of the backfield in his role as the team's "wide back," boosting his fantasy upside.
