New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte was arrested on Thursday in Baton Rouge, La., for allegations of illegal sports betting while he attended LSU. (ESPN)

While Boutte is now 21, the charges are for when he was under 21 at Louisiana State, and they include a felony count of computer fraud and a misdemeanor count of gambling prohibited for persons under 21, according to ESPN. Boutte's investigation is ongoing, and he is being accused of placing more than 8,900 wagers, including at least 17 bets on NCAA football games and at least six on LSU games. The situation will continue developing and it is currently unclear what legal or NFL repercussions he could face.
