Commanders, Quinn will not bring back Eric Bieniemy

Dan Quinn informed 2023-24 offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy that the Washington Commanders would not bring him back for the 2024-25 season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Last year, Bieniemy spent his first season as an NFL offensive coordinator outside of Kansas City in Washington, getting to call plays for the first time in the NFL as well. The Commanders saw some success on offense, notably first-year starter Sam Howell’s passing yardage and touchdowns, but also struggled in other areas like overall consistency, utilization of particular offensive players, high pressure rates and turnovers. Bieniemy likely showed enough in his season to earn a job elsewhere in 2024, but with a new staff and front office coming in, Quinn will look elsewhere at the OC position.
