Kadarius Toney not expected to play in Super Bowl

by Jordan Epp | Chiefs Correspondent | Sun, Feb 11th 10:40am EST

The Kansas City Chiefs are not expected to have WR Kadarius Toney active for Super Bowl 58 on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Toney’s season has been characterized by mental mistakes that have ultimately cost the Chiefs points. Since Week 15, when he had his second tip-drill-interception-inducing drop of the year, Toney has not played, whether it was injury-related, personal, or coach’s decision. Toney caught a TD pass in last year’s Super Bowl victory and had 27 catches for 169 yards and one score this season in 13 games. The Chiefs will rely on Rashee Rice, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Justin Watson, and Skyy Moore.
