Russell Wilson being released by Broncos

The Broncos have informed QB Russell Wilson that they will release him at the start of the league year. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Wilson being released on March 13 would allow the team to distribute his dead cap hit over the next two seasons. The veteran should have multiple suitors that are in need of a veteran starting quarterback. The Broncos and Sean Payton will have an opportunity to look towards the future as they select a new quarterback heading into the 2024 season.
