Giants DST holds Buffalo in check

by Mike Castiglione | Giants Correspondent | Mon, Oct 5th 2:13pm EDT

The Giants held Tyrod Taylor to 274 yards passing with a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 24-10 victory, and they also bottled up DFS darling Karlos Williams to 40 rushing yards on 18 carries (2.2 YPC).

Fantasy Impact:

Taylor and Williams both entered the day among the fantasy leaders at their respective positions. The Giants sacked "T Mobile" twice and also limited him to 15 rushing yards on six totes. New York also recovered a Robert Woods fumble. Bills tight end Charles Clay did have some success with a game-high nine catches (on 13 targets) for 111 yards. The Giants have made strides defensively after struggling last season but won't be more than a middle-of-the-pack option when they visit the San Francisco 49ers and struggling QB Colin Kaepernick on Sunday Night Football.
