T.J. Yates leads Texans to a win in the second straight game

T.J. Yates completed 16-of-34 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns through the air and negative five yards rushing on three attempts. He also fumbled on a blindside sack.
Fantasy Impact:
His stat line is a little misleading as it appears as though he did not have a good game. His game was not great by any means, but for a guy who was sitting on his couch only a few weeks ago he, has done a solid job in relief for the Texans. Yates has shown great chemistry with Texans top receiver DeAndre Hopkins, connecting with him on three touchdowns so far in two weeks. It is still not clear if Hoyer will pass the NFL's concussion protocol in time for the Texans Week 12 match-up against the Saints. Hoyer or Yates will be an intriguing spot start option in this game as the Saints have been blown out by nearly every team so far.
